The Ultimate Undoing

The caverns of the abyss lay there
Dead but dreaming, they clawed to the walls
Without hast the entrance to the palace of death
To behold sights so terrible, the morbid disperse
Faceless and grim, the invisible stared out
The eye upon the throne opened wide
and witness the dark oceans rise

With haste they fled
Down the corridor of death
Through the darkness
Confined

These plains had not been named
And nothing existed but the ash and stone
Their destinies were unwritten and unknown
Brought forth and called to shape all time
And be the bringer of destruction and pain

That he who beholds the fire shall perish
And that with their bodies flayed upon a spike
Bearing the weapons that slay all of his kind
With a sharpened cry and the glowing excess of death

And the grave dirt stench rises through the night
And the slain rise from the unearthly hallow
With the bodies filled with venom and blood
As they surged back and forth in the night
